CORONAWIRUS causes fever, coughing, shortness of breath, muscle aches and fatigue. It travels by droplet, i.e. when coughing, sneezing or speaking.
How to prevent infection?
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or an alcohol-based disinfectant.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a bent arm or a disposable tissue when you cough or sneeze.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with your hands.
- Keep at least 1 meter away from people who cough and sneeze.
What to do in case of flu-like symptoms: (T ° ≥ 38 ° and breathing difficulties)
If you are at home:
- stay at home, don’t come to work – inform your supervisor
- do not come alone to medical centre (unless you are asked) or go to the hospital without prior telephone arrangement and clear instructions where to go.

Information for travelers returning from northern Italy and other countries *
If you have recently traveled to an area where the virus is currently active (* Mainland China, Hongkong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, Lombardy, Italy) in the previous two weeks you must:
- check your temperature twice a day;
- wear a surgical mask around other people, at home and at work,
- limit the number of extra-curricular activities (e.g. cinema, going to restaurants), stay away from places with people at increased risk of illness (e.g. hospitals).
